There has always been a choice between walking the partisan line or walking no line at all. It's the existential question all over again - if you have a gun pointed at your head, you still have a choice...you can in fact choose death.
I am not going as far as making apathy and death synonynous, but I could be.
Writing doesn't give me the certainty it gives others, it just gives me a sense of possibility, and that could be why I'm here - to entertain the possible.
I take it that's why we're all here - isn't it?
